2025 Japan Burma Studies Conference
Registration Open

The 2025 Japan Burma Studies Conference will be held at Ehime University on May 17 -18.
We are pleased to announce that registration is now open. Please see the below and get yourself registered. Please also note that the registration and childcare facility due dates are different.
We look forward to welcoming many of you to Matsuyama in May!
◼ Date:
Day 1: May 17th, 2025 (Sat.) 11:00-18:10 (Conference dinner for 18:30-20:00)
– There are only a few lunch options available around the campus. You can pre-order a bento box if you wish.
– The conference dinner fee is 4,000 yen (1,500 yen for students).
Day 2: May 18th, 2025 (Sun.) 9:00-12:20
◼ Venue: Johoku Campus, Ehime University.
◼ Program: Please see the following pages
◼ Registration Fee: 500 yen (free for students)
*Please pay at the registration counter at the venue.
◼ Registration: Please finish registration through the link below by April 30th, 2025.

◼ Childcare facilities: If you wish to use the childcare facilities service during the conference,

Notice
It is highly recommended that you book accommodation and means of transportation in advance. For
many, the air will be the fastest way to reach Matsuyama city. Primary hotel zones in Matsuyama are
around either Okaido (大街道) or Dogo Onsen (道後温泉).
