この国際研究集会では、ケア・コミュニティとコミュニティのケアについて、東アジアと東南アジアの事例研究を通して検討します。この研究集会において、ケア・コミュニティとは、ケアを焦点とした多様な人や組織や制度の集合を意味します。また、コミュニティのケアとは、ケア活動を通してコミュニティの規範や組織のありかたがメンテナンスされ、改善されることを意味します。これらのテーマについて、経済学、政治学、社会学、文化人類学、法学、公衆衛生学などの専門分野からアプローチします。
