Conference on India- Japan: 70 years of cooperation and the way forward | 24th February

I am delighted to share that the Ananta Centre and the Embassy of Japan, New
Delhi will be convening a very special programme to commemorate the 70th
anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two
countries. The conference on “*India- Japan: 70 years of cooperation and
the way forward*” will be held virtually on *24th February 2022* from *10:00
AM – 1:00 PM (IST).*

This conference will highlight the key milestones of the close friendship
both nations have shared with each other over the last 70 years and look at
ways through which we can enhance engagement in novel areas of cooperation
to take this relationship to the next level.

We are honoured to have *Mr Taro Honda*, Parliamentary Vice-Minister for
Foreign Affairs, Government of Japan, *Mr Harsh Vardhan Shringla, *Foreign
Secretary, Government of India, *Ms Rui Matsukawa*, Member, House of
Councilors, Japan, *Ambassador Sanjay Kumar Verma*, Ambassador of India to
Japan and *Ambassador Satoshi Suzuki*, Ambassador of Japan to India address
this conference with *Mr N.K. Singh*, Chairman, 15th Finance Commission,
Government of India chairing the proceedings.
