皆様
今月は、フィリピン南部の紛争に関する研究イベントが活発に
行われるようで、嬉しく思います。ここにもう一つ、セミナーの
ご案内をさせてください。
フィリピン南部では、今年の8月に50万人もの人びとが国内避難民になる
武力衝突が発生し、その後も状況は改善する兆しがありません。
このセミナーでは、フィリピン南部より5人の女性をお招きし、
彼女らの平和構築に関する様ざまな取り組みについてご紹介いただきいます。
フィリピン南部のムスリムの楽器であるクリンタンとアゴン（ゴング）の演奏や
歌のしらべを聴きながら、彼女たちの平和への願いに耳を傾けます。

Elin Anisha Capal Guro エリン・アニシャ・カパル・グロ

Elin has served as the youngest and first female Vice-Chancellor for Research and Extension at the Mindanao State University. She also leads the Peace Women Partners in Mindanao.
Aisa Akalal アイサ・アカラル
Professor, Mindanao State University, Sulu
ミンダナオ国立大学（スル校）・教授
Aisa serves as Regional Commissioner for Sulu and Tawi-Tawi of the Mindanao Commission on Women that provides adult literary to the unschooled women.
Nida P. Dans ニダ・ダンス
President, Political Caucus of Women Leaders in Mindanao
ミンダナオ女性リーダーの政治連盟・会長
Nida serves as a Councilor of Isabela City, Basilan from 1998-2007.
She is also a Regional Director of the Mindanao Commission on Women.
She is the first recipient of the Regional Outstanding Lady Executive Award (Rolex Award).

Matabay is actively involved in the Muslim Business Forum and Philippine Muslim Women Council, and also the Governor of the National Council of Women for Regional 12.

Panganayとはフィリピノ語で「第1番目」という意味です。そのことばのとおり、
おそらく日本初のクリンタン演奏グループです。２００１年に民博で生まれました。
